Day 1-August 28th, Friday

(ATHENA & DIONYSUS)

Full Moon in Acropolis & Night Out on the Town!

Athinais Hotel, Athens

15.30-17.00  Opening CIRCLE - Introduction

17.30-20.30  Dionysus amphitheater, full                                    moon tour and experience in                                Acropolis

21.00-22.00 Dinner in Psiri, the locals hotspot

Our journey begins in Athens with a guided tour of the Acropolis, culminating in an unforgettable moment: the full moon rising over Parthenon: a masterpiece of architecture and sacred mathematics. Presiding over it is Athena, a powerful feminine archetype. Though armed, unlike Ares, god of war, Athena is the goddess who fights for, not against—for justice, equal rights, democracy, and creative freedom. As we walk these ancient stones under the full moon, we are invited to reflect on ourselves: Where can wisdom guide our courage? As twilight deepens, we first gather at the Theatre of Dionysus, where we explore the birth of theater. While many ancient cultures preserved ritual strictly as ceremony, in Athens ritual transformed into drama, daring to place the human soul’s doubt, faith, suffering, and transformation at the center of sacred expression.  How did this contribute to the evolution of democracy?

Day 2- August 29th, Sat

(APOLLO)

Delphi Museum and Oracle Site Tour

Athinais Hotel, Athens

7.00-8.00        Breakfast at hotel-pass out gifts

12.00-16.00     Delphi site & museum tour

16.00-17.30      Traditional shepherd’s lunch

20.30                Optional dinner in Athens

Today we experience Delphi’s dramatic landscape, nestled between steep cliffs that inspire awe. We will ascend the terraces of the sanctuary, in openness to the invisible. Apollo’s Oracle of Delphi spoke through the Pythia, the woman visionary. Kings, city-states, and seekers approached her not for certainty, but for insight, learning that wisdom often arrives through mystery rather than answers.  Carved into Apollo’s sanctuary were the Delphic Maxims, timeless ethical and spiritual principles such as “Know Thyself,” “Nothing in Excess,” and “Be Mindful of the Moment.”  During our journey you will get selected maxims as practical compass points. Through a guided tour in the Delphi Museum we trace how Art forms evolved from prehistoric to classical ones. A delicious traditional lunch, inspired by shepherd cuisine, awaits us on a terrace overlooking the majestic canyon.

21.00              Greek dances class and party

We journey into the wild beauty of Vouraikos Hercules Gorge riding the Odontotos rack railway AKA historic "toothed" mountain train along cliffs and bridges as rushing waters and dramatic rock formations unfold around us. The track runs from Diakopto to Kalavryta, passing through the Vouraikos Gorge and the village of Zachlorou. Along the way, openings to cave systems can be seen as well as impressive stalagmites. Some of these appear to recreate scenes like naturally formed dioramas, such as at the site known as the Dikastiria (or Courthouse) – so named due to the formations that resemble a judge presiding over a court. We will explore the mystical Cave of the Lakes, a rare underground world shaped over millennia, and continue to the remains of an ancient sanctuary of Artemis—revealing how sacred sites are in deep harmony with the natural world and our inner world. In the evening, we learn traditional Greek dances, followed by a party.

Over the next five days, we immerse ourselves in the living history of nafplio, Greece’s most romantic town and home of artists beyond Greece. We wander through its old streets shaped by Venetian, Ottoman, and Greek influences, explore the Palamidi Fortress with its sweeping views of land and sea, and visit the floating Bourtzi Castle by boat. With enough time for elegant shopping and artistic discoveries, we experience Nafplio not as a museum, but as a vibrant, living town, alive with beauty, art, and romantic nightlife.  According to mythology, the town was founded by Nafplios, the son of god Poseidon and the daughter of Danaus (Danaida) Anymone. The town’s history traces back to the prehistoric era when soldiers from here participated in the Argonautic expedition and the Trojan War alike. The town declined during the Roman times and flourished again during the Byzantine times. Frankish, Venetian and Turkish conquerors left their mark in the town and strongly influenced its culture, architecture and traditions during the centuries. Ancient walls, medieval castles, monuments and statues, Ottoman fountains and Venetian or neoclassical buildings mesmerize the visitor with their unique architecture and beauty.

In the world-famous ancient amphitheater of Epidaurus, we test the miraculous acoustics with our own voices and feel how its precise architecture embraces kosmos, harmonizing human presence with the natural and divine order. Nearby, we visit a ceramic workshop, to shop and to learn how ancient Greek pottery was created. Then, lunch under the shade of mulberry trees and swimming. Love through the Ages: Aphrodite and Apostle Paul

Ancient Corinth

7.30-9.00       Breakfast

12.00-14.00   Tour in ancient Corinth site

Apollo’s temple, museum and ancient agora (plaza)

19.00               Arrive at Ferry to Lesvos

Our journey concludes in Ancient Corinth, once one of the wealthiest and most cosmopolitan cities of antiquity—so prosperous that the saying arose: “Not everyone can sail to Corinth.” Ancient Corinth was the Holy Prostitute Center, where Aphrodite was worshipped. In the Museum next to Apollo’s Doric temple, artifacts of daily life, ritual, and trade reveal the daily life of men, women and holy prostitutes in a city shaped by worldly exchange. Walking through the Agora, the vibrant heart of public life, we trace the footsteps of merchants, philosophers, sailors—and centuries later, Apostle Paul. A meeting place of Aphrodite’s sacred love and early Christian agape.
