This day provides a local experience of village life in the area. We will take a walk with our local guide Christina who was born and raised in Mesotopos Village and lived in the U.S. for many years. She will take us on an insider's tour of the inner workings of an authentic Greek village. Then, we will go for a swim and have a delightful, well loved lunch at Marina's taverna on the waterfront in the small village of Tavari. Come hungry because you will be totally indulged by Marina's amazing cooking and hospitality! Then, off to my friend Ronit's Amazones Eco-Land retreat space where we will learn about it's history and mission and hopefully watch and sample the most delicious homemade loaves of bread. Once we return to Skala, you will have some free time to rest, refresh and join us for a group dinner and then over to the opening night festivities of the festival!
